Advanced Automatic Control


At the end of this module, the student will have understood and be able to explain (main concepts) :
Main concepts of control of non-linear systems and of optimal control.
Random signals and linear systems (Continuous Kalman filter and Discrete Kalman filter)
The student will be able to :
- understand and implement control of complex systems: non-linear control and optimal control.
- implement a Kalman filter

Needed prerequisite

Discrete event systems - linear continuous systems (modelling and control) - random signals - analysis of non-linear systems - multivariable systems.

Form of assessment

The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
