Programming paradigms and network architectures


At the end of this module, the student will have understood and be able to explain (main concepts) :
- understand what an embedded system is, to design, build and test it, with emphasis
on real-time applications
- to understand the mechanisms and to use a real-time kernel
- asynchronous and synchronous programming concepts
The student will be able to:
- Set up a design methodology in response to a specification
- Design software architectures for real-time applications
- Adjust the task parameters to reach the expected performance
- Simulate and analyse application performance

Form of assessment

The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
