Conception mécanique et étude de fabrication
Presentation
Programme (detailed contents): Functional dimensioning with CLIC method. Arithmetic and statistical dimensions chains axial and radial. Statistical control during and after production. Theory of mechanisms. Dimensioning of gears and bearings.
Organisation: 7,5 h of functional dimensioning and statistical control Lectures, 6,25 h of tutorials, 2.5 h of heat treatment of materials Lectures and 8h of project. Lectures and projects related to mechanical design
Objectives
At the end of this module, the student will have understood and be able to explain (main concepts):
Use of gear joints, bearings, and theory of mechanisms. Functional dimensioning and Tolerancing of mechanical system and its component parts. The arithmetic or statistical tolerance intervals. Determining the parameters of a statistical control during or after production. The inspection of a piece from a digital definition. The methods of increasing the mechanical performance by heat treatments.
The student will be able to:
Make the functional dimensioning these parts with the ISO dimensioning.
Perform calculations dimension chains to determine the Tolerance Intervals in arithmetic and statistics.
Establish statistical quality control.
Determine and implement a heat treatment for a piece mechanically stressed.
Design a mechanical systems which include gears and bearings.
Needed prerequisite
Understanding the ISO dimensioning
Form of assessment
The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
