First part lectures and tutorials (1/3) after what a project (2/3)
Examples of projects : automotive steering, flight control actuator, building lift
Objectives
At the end of this module, the student will have understood and be able to explain (main concepts):
- Requirements and functional analysis of a systems
- Preliminary design and multi-domain modelling of a mechatronic system
Needed prerequisite
- Basics of solid mechanics, fluid mechanics (stationary), electricity and electronics.
- Basics of technology and plan reading.
Form of assessment
The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
