The module is composed of 4 sub-modules of 30h each to be elected by students among a proposed list.

 

The modules enable students to develop their knowledge on issues related to mechanical engineering such as for example :

 

Compressible fluid mechanics, Microfluidics, Turbomachines, Computational fluid dynamics, Hydraulic systems and components, Nonlinear FEA, Optimal design, Multiaxial fatigue, Configuration management training, Computer aided manufacturing, HSM optimization, Additive manufacturing process, Advanced computational solid mechanics, Advanced mechanical design.

Objectives

The student will be able to successfully follow 4 optional modules related to mechanical design skills.  

Form of assessment

The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
