ENG'INSA

Eng’INSA is an international programme starting at INSA Toulouse in September 2018. It targets English-speaking students and/or bilingual English-French students who wish to enroll in a top-level multidisciplinary programme in order to pursue international careers in both engineering and executive management. Regarding the language prerequisites to enter first year, students must certify the equivalent of a C1 level in English and a B1 level in French on the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CERFL).

This programme provides advanced courses in engineering coupled with leadership training in international and multicultural environments: course content as well as teaching methods (small groups, blended learning, problem-based learning, etc.) have been designed so as to allow engineering students to handle complex situations, to become team managers and to lead innovative projects in multicultural and international environments.

The  engineering curriculum of Eng’INSA is primarily taught in English in the first year and classes are taught in a combination of French or English from the 2nd year to the 5th year.  In addition to scientific engineering courses (majors), Eng’INSA also offers students courses in  two foreign languages, management and leadership via thematic modules (minors). To meet these goals, this programme is based on a unique partnership between INSA Toulouse and other local higher education institutions.

To enhance this international degree course, students are also given the opportunity to study abroad for one or two semesters in one of INSA Toulouse’s many partner institutions.
