Dead-lines for receiving the complete signed original application forms at INSA Toulouse

  • May 2nd for admission in September (start of automn semester - September to January)
  • November 20th for admission in February (start of spring semester - February to June)

Step 1 - For applying to INSA within International Programs (Not required for ASINSA, NORGINSA Students)

You must be nominated by your home institution before applying.

  • Apply on-line to MoveOn "Incoming": click here
  • Print the MoveOn application form
  • Sign the form
  • Have the form signed by your coordinator.
  • Fill the accomodation form (more informations about accomodations)
  • Fill the learning Agreement
  • Sign the learning agreement
  • Have it signed by your coordinator
  • Add your CV
  • Add a motivation letter
  • Add the transcript of records of the two last years prior to your mobility at INSA

 

Send all originals of the above documents using the Post Office or Express Mail to

Step 2 - OPTIONNAL 30-HOURS French Intensive Course (Aug. 30th, 2012- SepT. 8th, 2012)

 

Information about the French Intensive Course will be available at the Toulouse University Web Site starting May 2012.

  • If you are in Double-Diploma, you may register to the French Intensive Course using the application form (160 EUR fee paid by INSA Toulouse).

  • If you are not in Double-Diploma, you may apply and pay 160 EUR directly to the Toulouse University Web Site starting May 2012.

Step 3 - If you are accepted, when arriving at insa you will be asked the following documents (compulsory to obtain your student's card):

 

Very important: you must register at INSA before the beginning of the intensive French course at the University of Toulouse.


  • 2 copies de votre passeport ou carte d’identité – two copies of your passport or identity card
  • 2 copies de votre acte de naissance traduit en français (pour les étudiants qui vivent hors Espace Economique Européen EEE) - Two copies of your birth certificate translated in French (for students who live out of European Economic Area EEA)
  • 2 copies de votre carte d’étudiant ou attestation d’inscription ou certificat de scolarité dans votre université ou école d’origine (indiquant obligatoirement que vous avez payé les droits d’inscription dans cet établissement, pour toute la durée de vos études à l’INSA) – two copies of a student card or university student enrolment form at home university or school (must indicate compulsory that the full enrolment fees for the semester or year have been paid)
  • 2 copies de votre carte européenne d’assurance maladie (à défaut, formulaire de demande de cette Carte) – 2 copies of European Health Insurance Card (if not proof of having applied for the card
  • Ou/or 2 copies du formulaire de couverture médicale internationale jusqu’au 1er octobre 2012 seulement (traduit en français, ou en anglais, ou en espagnol) – 2 copies of an International Medical Health Insurance form valid until the 1st October 2012 (translated into French or English, or Spanish)
  • Ou/or - 2 copies du formulaire québécois de couverture médicale SE 401-Q-106 - 2 copies of Quebec Health Insurance form SE 401-Q-106
  • 2 copies de l’attestation d’assurance responsabilité civile obligatoire pour s’inscrire à l’INSA (vous pourrez l’acheter en France, 16€ en 2011-2012, mais elle est incluse dans l’assurance habitation, également obligatoire en France) - 2 copies of a personal liability insurance certificate compulsory to enrol at INSA (you can buy it in France, 16€ in 2011-2012 but it is included in the home insurance compulsory also for your accommodation in Toulouse)
  • Fiche Activités Physiques et Sportives (APS) avec 1 photo d’identité - A Physical Education and Sports form together with a passport photo

  • Certificat médical (complété et signé par votre médecin dans votre pays d’origine) – a medical certificate (completed and signed by your doctor in your country of origin)

for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year at INSA

  • Fiche d’autorisation de soins (signée aussi par vos parents) avec 1 photo d’identitéa form allowing medical care at INSA (signed by yourself and your parents) with a passport photo

  • 1 photo d’identité à agrafer sur la 1ère page de votre dossier le jour de votre venue à la Direction des Relations Internationales (DRI) – a passport photo attached to the 1st page of your enrolment file the day when you come at International Relations Office (DRI)

Note about Residence permit (Carte de séjour)

The residence permit is no more necessary for studies in France for less than one year.

Note about personnal liability insurance

Once arrived at INSA, you will be asked to take a multi-risk insurance /assurance multi-risque habitation for your lodging, that will also include civil responsibility  /responsabilité civile .
