INSA is offering high quality Masters of Science programmes for non-French speaking students. During the first year of the 2-year long program, most courses are taught in English.  You will experience French culture and prepare for Research & Development carrear at international level.

 

New ! Post Master programme in “Risk engineering”

 

The objective of this new autumn semester is to offer courses in English dealing with generic aspects of risk management including concepts of risk as well as risk analysis (identification and estimation), treatment, communication and management systems. The second part deals with applications in specific domains: process safety, dependability of computing systems, toxicological risks for human health and environment, natural and technological risks for construction, risk associated with electromagnetic fields and electricity. This second part does not require deep knowledge of each domain as an introduction to useful skills will be supplied. A large part of the lectures is provided by professionals.

Master Program in Systems Engineering

 

This Master course given mostly in ENGLISH was launched in September 2005; it is open to partner Universities for a one or two semesters exchange to start with. The courses are at the leading edge of Systems Engineering (SE) with special consideration to technological complex systems, and result from thorough in-depth exchanges with industrial leaders and SE consultants such as Airbus, Continental, Thales and with AFIS, the French chapter of the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE).

Admission

In addition to academic level, admission to INSA Graduate School is granted based on an entrance examination, diplomas, academic record and possible interview.

To apply to one of our international Masters degrees, you need to :

  • be a graduate at the L level in the European LMD system (structure defined by the Bologna European Higher Education Space agreement), or
  • be a graduate with any equivalent degree as Bachelor, or
  • be attending the fourth year of a graduation course in the field you are interested in.

 

Master AgroFood Chain: A two-year programme in Agrobiosciences leading to a Master’s degree

The purpose of this MSc course, open to students worldwide, is to create awareness of the scientific, social and economic realities of the modern agrifood industry and to provide scientific and practical training in an international context.
It is designed to train future researchers and executives aiming at international careers in the sectors of agriculture/ agrofood and associated biotechnologies, non-food valorisation of agro-resources, environment/sustainable development and related economics.

Specific features :

  •  All classes are taught in English.
  • Excellence in teaching and research: Toulouse is a centre of scientific excellence, teaching/research staff are involved in leading-edge research activities within international networks in the domain of Agrobiosciences.
  • A multidisciplinary programme: Beyond the scientific fields of the domain, the curriculum also focuses on the issues of sustainable development : social, economic, environmental aspects. An approach that will help students develop a truly global perspective.
