At the end of this module, the student will have understood and be able to explain (main concepts) :
- Von Neumann model
- ALU, memory, input/output circuits, CPU, interrupt mechanism,
pipeline execution of the instructions
- Instruction set and programming in assembly language
- The components of a software development kit: compiler, linker, loader,
The student will be able to:
- Understand the principles of an instructions set
- Develop an assembly language program for a microcontroller
- Use of tools for a cross-language development process

Form of assessment

The evaluation of outcome prior learning is made as a continuous training during the semester. According ot the teaching, the assessment will be different: as a written exam, an oral exam, a record, a written report, peers review...
