The professionalization of engineering studies at INSA Toulouse is guaranteed by:

- 36 weeks in industry during the course (3 compulsory internships)

- 17% of courses given by professionals from industry

- Specific courses (management, setting up a company…)

- Regular events bringing close links with industry.

INSA has partnerships or agreements with many companies for internships, the “taxe d’apprentissage” and through its University Foundation.

Industrial valorization

The industrial valorization of research carried out in its laboratories is a priority for INSA Toulouse. With their expertise, research contracts, applied research, patents…, its research laboratories are constantly working for industry.

Technology transfer

INSA welcomes on its campus innovative start-ups in biotechnologies and nanotechnologies and offers its expertise to numerous small- and medium-sized companies attracted by the quality of its laboratories.

Particularly important in this context are the Regional Centres for Innovation and Techno­logy Transfer (CRITT, GPTE and CRITT Bio-Industries) linked to INSA laboratories. Their activities are integrated in the Transfer and Industrial Liaison Service.
