INSA Toulouse:
a school focused on change
Societal change
The INSA model is first and foremost a philosophical model of education conceived by Gaston Berger—INSA co-founder—that is built on two fundamental pillars: to fight against social reproduction and to uphold the values of humanism. The Centre Gaston Berger acts as upholder of this forward-looking approach.
Environmental change
The engineer of the 21st century must be the driving force behind the ecological and energy transition. Having joined forces with the think tank The Shift Project, INSA Toulouse is developing a comprehensive and ambitious CSR policy by reinforcing the focus on socio-ecological and energy-climate issues.
Digital change
One of INSA’s strategic challenges is the digital transformation and hybridization of its educational practices, along with the development of new services for students. Artificial intelligence, open data and ethics are all key to a responsible digital future in both training and research.

INSA Toulouse
Foundation

Since 2007, the INSA Toulouse Foundation offers companies and individuals the opportunity to work together towards the development of the Institute. The patronage of the Foundation acts as a social responsibility instrument for its partners, providing INSA Toulouse with new means to tackle scientific, technological and societal challenges, promoting the INSA model and contributing to its outreach.
Centre
Gaston Berger

Our societies are undergoing profound changes, where global transformations and social fractures call for their capacity to reinvent themselves. This is why INSA must devise new skills for our future scientific leaders and continuously hone its model in the vein of its founder: Gaston Berger. The CGB focuses on three key areas: fostering social inclusion, embracing diversity, and developing a forward-thinking approach.
