International
policies
International relations are central to the development strategy of INSA Toulouse, leading the institution’s internationalization through long-term, in-depth support for academic, scientific and industrial partnerships. They are rooted in the quest for an education-research-innovation equilibrium that shapes INSA’s cooperative strategy and fosters student and staff mobility.
A team of 30 professionals implements our international policy on a daily basis
You’ll receive support and guidance from IR correspondents of the different pre-specializations and departments, coordinators of international training programs (ASINSA, IBERINSA, NORGINSA, ENGINSA, n+i, etc.), staff from the International Relations Department, task officers, and coordinators of Masters programs.

Education designed
to broaden your horizons
INSA Toulouse engineering students are required to spend a minimum of 16 weeks abroad. Mobility can take the form of an internship (in a company or research laboratory) or a period of study. Every year, about 600 students spend time abroad.
EXCHANGE SEMESTERS
Exchange semesters are only possible with partner institutions if:
- They take place in the context of the Erasmus+ programme (when in Europe)
- They take place in the context of cooperation agreements (INSA Toulouse bilateral agreement, University of Toulouse, INSA Group, or ECIU) or networks (BCI, n+i program).

DOUBLE DEGREES
Under the Double Degree model, students can obtain both an INSA Toulouse degree and a degree from the partner institution by extending the duration of their studies by approximately 6 months.
The double-degree experience is often described in terms of “open-mindedness”, “autonomy”, “creativity” and “adaptability” — essential skills sought by engineers with an international mindset. Students who undertake a double degree are mainly looking for complementary training. The Double Degree model thus boasts significant added value in terms of jobs, salaries and career profiles.

Mobility grants
Mobility grants are awarded to students who undertake studies abroad. While this financial aid does not cover the full cost of your mobility, it helps you complete it successfully.
Since studying or working abroad can entail considerable costs, we advise you to prepare your budget carefully before you leave.
Depending on the type of mobility (study/internship) and your personal situation (scholarship holder or not), you may be eligible for various forms of assistance.
To apply for financial aid for your mobility project, you must first be enrolled at our institution and have been selected to take part in a mobility program.
Should you be experiencing serious financial difficulties, you can request one-off assistance from the INSA Social Commission (make an appointment with the social worker).
Students with a disability may be eligible for special assistance from the Erasmus+ programme for European mobility.
